To fall asleep is like swimming

 deep in the ocean

with no direction

but for a purpose,

escape.

Never before had a question about it

but always wondered,

will i make it out alive?

trying too hard to breathe when suffocating

never finding a way out.

Filled with things 

Filled with books

Random puzzle pieces everywhere

one working lamp

no room to relax but to lay with a cramp

i think of moving around

a place i can cry 

a place where i can dance

a place to plan

a place to create

a place to display my personality 

i find treasures underneath

i can think here. just me

looking outside the window to see what day would be

music always flowing

a place where i can scream

a place i call my bedroom.

world we hate

we live in a place

of hope and desires

a place of war and disbelieve 

eyes float around don't know what

they're seeing, 

no connection 

no communication 

no true need

but want 

we get 

we waste

what do we keep?

love? 

love disintegrates

as soon as we try to grasp it

 we are looking for love

in the wrong places

mend your heart

you'll know where to find.

your smile echoes

a thousand miles through my heart

i feel the happiness within my soul  

its shooting up in my veins, the colors 

you emit from your good vibe 

eyes does this thing where

they keep going 

towards you

you're a thousand miles away

i can feel you.

closed heart

open your mind

you open your eyes

your heart starts to see

what lies beneath 

of disdain felt

but you see

so are you

they keep shining

but when does time give us time?

you keep in stillness hoping for more

but its running out

every day

every minute

every second

it moves

 we don't

but when you move

you dance with time

you say hello

it says hi

Loneliness can be lonely 

Loneliness can be crowded

Company can visit 

They accompany you in your head

They fly, they tell stories, they can make you laugh 

But they remind you how alone

Life's like flames

Trying to escape 

But something's holding you 

Nightmares, fear, thoughts 

But in the end

Everything burns

his face was long with sadness

his eyes were empty as the universe

he'd smile to you 

but all you get is fear

hugs? they're colder than ice cubes in your freezer

you'd get close but he's farther than jupiter

as he spoke his voice was shaken 

it was shakier than the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco

he'd give you love 

but no love for himself

he gives you hugs

hugging a spirit

He's scared to get

close

They're faithful 

because they're free

freedom makes you fall

They sing with joy

we walk with happiness

with the one we love

May get lost

It's about the destination

why can't i breathe in such liquid

i just want to swim away

darker than closed eye lids

light as my eyes

light as my existence

i have troubles

but i know how to look up

i am far more grander than i think i am
