Sunflower eye ~ A Poem a Day in May

Sun goes down

my brain turns on

i paint sunflowers on my eyes

i dream of walking with you

you do 

we even dance

we dance in my sunflower eye 

maybe i should draw you.

maybe we can do more

You're running in circles

but your feet aren't moving.

               Your mind is traveling a 

                 thousand miles per hour

Your hands are numb. 

But where are your eyes going?.
