Beauty outside the lens

When you want to take a picture of something beautiful in the sky, and sometimes it doesn't come out how you saw it.. well i truly believe that some things has to be seen in person, and you cant capture something so beautiful.. so, when you have the chance.. put the camera down.. and enjoy the magic happenings on earth. :))

Mark the Seagull.

okay at first you're probably thinking..
"why did you took a picture of a seagull?"
i have two reasons.. one: why not take a picture of a seagull
and two: this seagull has a story like any other living creature in this world.
i took this picture in Santa Cruz at a beach
if you look carefully you can see some fishing line on its right leg,
the first thing that popped in my head was.. "wow! im surprised this thing is still alive"
because a lot of birds do get caught around areas where people fish
it can get dangerous for them, but they still hang out around there because they know thats where they can get a good meal.

but anyways i was super close to this thing lol and i was shocked how close it let me get to him but them it flew away! hahah

Broken Ballerina

Broken Ballerina?

She danced even when no one saw her.
when times got rough
she would tie ballet shoes up to her ankles.
cuts and bruises
wont stop her living her dreams,
dreams she had dreamed for years.
falling apart piece by piece
she glued herself back together
day by day she keeps
hoping she would find love.
but too distracted by her scars
but kept dancing.

always with a smile on her face

Absent Fishing

i randomly took this picture when i went to SeaCliff when we went to Santa Cruz
i actually entered this picture to a Photo contest here in my town
im really happy i had the opportunity to enter!
ive never entered for anything!
anyways! i really love how this picture came out! hope you enjoy it!

info on the ship in the background:

SS Palo Alto was a concrete ship built as a tanker at the end of World War I. She was built by the San Francisco Shipbuilding Company at the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Oakland, California. She was launched on 29 May 1919, too late to see service in the war.

She was mothballed in Oakland until 1929, when she was bought by the Seacliff Amusement Corporation and towed to Seacliff State Beach in Aptos, California. A pier was built leading to the ship, and she was sunk a few feet in the water so her keel rested on the bottom. There she was refitted as an amusement ship, with amenities including a dance floor, a swimming pool and a café.

The company went bankrupt two years later and the ship cracked at the midsection. She was stripped of her fittings and left as a fishing pier. Eventually she deteriorated to the point where she was unsafe for even this use and was closed to the public. Today she remains at Seacliff Beach and serves as an artificial reef for marine life.

i straight up copy and paste the paragraph above lmao!

but here's the link where i got it from!

Hey,

Hi! okayyyyy soo i thought i'd talk a little bit about myself because i dont think i have yet, or maybe i have.. so if i have.. YOU'RE GONNA HEAR IT AGAIN! haha
anyways..
HI
so this is my second blog, where im going share my "poetry", "short stories" and "photography"
i like writing, i remember when i was a kid i used to write about monsters and read them to my mom and she thought i was gonna be a serial killer because they were quite violent, im not a serial killer and im not violent.. haha
i like writing poetry because you can use few words to create a story
i told my english teacher in high school that one day im going to publish a book, and that is still a goal for me, and im going to accomplish it.
i usually write dark stuff, why? i dont know.. it just happens.. i guess i like to explore that part of my brain, im not a depressed or negative person but i like to think about it because im open to anything, open to possibilities that can happen to me.
i also write about hopeful things
i write about the sky, the clouds, and the stars,
i feel like people do not appreciate them enough..
i always think about the big picture... usually people worry about how they look, and get sad because they do not look how they want to , where as i think about, "well, it is what it is and im not dead, im alive and let's move on"
(trust me it makes life a lot easier)
its funny
i always have to either have my note pad or my phone to write down whatever comes to my mind because, when i think of something i have to write it immediately otherwise i will for sure forget it and it will be gone forever, i have the worst memory in life!
if i remember your name you're lucky, that means i love you
i've always liked taking pictures,
i think its really fun and very interesting how you can capture a moment
like, a moment that COULD be a memory but it is imprinted on a piece on paper to be viewed forever.
im more intrigued by Black & White pictures, because i think it has more depth and has more story to it.
when i was 14 i wanted to be a photographer and my mom was super happy of this decision
my mom was a photographer at a hotel in Mexico where she used to work she was in charge of taking pictures of celebrities and models who came to the hotel
i never pursued to be a photographer i wanted to be many things when i was younger, i wanted to be an Astronomer, fashion designer, photographer, actress, dancer, film maker, writer and probably much more... haha
i never pursued any of that because i honestly dont know what i want to do with my life.. but at the same time, why not do it all.
because think about it.. you live on this earth once.. why stick to only one thing? that would be super boring.. my goal in life is to do a little bit of everything to try out everything the world has to offer.
who knows maybe in the future i'll be able to dance like Fred Astaire ..
ok maybe not like Mr. Astaire... but close! hahah
i wanna learn how to Tap Dance though..
anyways
i will be posting all those 3 things on here! poems, short stories and my photography
i think that is it .. i mean if you have any questions about me or other things you can tweet me : @carolcarol92
im always on twitter
:))
