To fall asleep is like swimming

 deep in the ocean

with no direction

but for a purpose,

escape.

Never before had a question about it

but always wondered,

will i make it out alive?

trying too hard to breathe when suffocating

never finding a way out.

Wishing every night is not doing anything,

i cry with all my might

my tears are shimmering down my face

they make me shrink to the person 

i don't want 

how can i grow to the person i desire to be?

I don't need your help

i caught fire in my hands

its burning

only i can make it go away

i choose not to 

i can stand on my own

lost, yes.

fearful, no.

need to do what i must.

Burn the demons inside me

i will come back.

You, with the orange eyes,

why wont you let me hold you?

im pretty nice!

i feed you!

i even give you some rice!

i talk to you everyday 

and hope to find you not having any pain

you cant fly

i took you in

food for you is what i buy

i see you upside down

thinking you might be dead

i get there and you're fake 

you flip and hungry i feed you

why peck me, im your friend.

Contentment is ok

but comfort may not get you far

put your wishes in a jar

and take one each day 

and make them happen.

Believing and walking 

can lead you to 

your desires.

When blood is dripping from your hand 

you feel the hurt you have caused.

You are holding the heart of the one you loved

cant let go because it is still connected to you.

The veins are disturbing 

the murder of your own soul 

sitting there wondering why, why me why must i be.
